Borough of Poole is a small unitary authority that is seeking adopters for children in Poole and surrounding areas. The adoption team works closely with other authorities and agencies to match children’s needs and the right locations.
The team arranges information sessions to help people find out more about adopting. This includes the opportunity to talk with people who have already adopted and hear about the training and support that is offered.
WE need adopters for all ages, but in particular we are looking for prospective adopters for children over four years of age, children who need to live with their brothers or sisters, and for some children with disabilities. All the children will have experienced some trauma in their lives and need the security of a permanent family.
