PLYMOUTH WELCOMES ADOPTERS FROM ALL WALKS IN LIFE
Plymouth City Council is a unitary authority bordered by Devon and Cornwall. It is an Adoption Agency, which is currently placing about 30 children a year for adoption. Our adopters take placements from Plymouth and other authorities throughout the Country.
We welcome applications from people living in the Plymouth area and operate an equal opportunities policy in terms of ethnic background, marital status, age and religion. As many of our children cannot be placed in the Plymouth area, we welcome applicants from all over the lower South West region and in particular Devon, Cornwall and Torbay.
We need placements for children of all ages but in particular we need families for children over four years of age, children who are part of a sibling group and children with emotional or physical disabilities.
