These are just 5 of the many children awaiting permanent placements (names have been changed)
Connor and Ella are half-siblings who need a home together, ideally able to reflect Connor’s white UK/African Caribbean heritage. Connor is a lively 3 year old who enjoys outdoor games and playing with his foster carers. His 1 year old sister is meeting all her developmental milestones and is friendly and affectionate. An Adoption Allowance may be payable, and some face-to-face contact with the children’s birth parents is planned.
Sophie is 2 years old and suffers from cerebral palsy and brain damage. Despite her many health problems, she has a strong personality and shows great courage and resilience. She is full of smiles and affection for her current carer. An Adoption Allowance will be payable, and contact will take place one of her siblings only. She needs adopters who can offer lots of support, time and energy to cope with her special needs.
Aidan is nearly 9 years old. He has a good sense of humour and loves to ride his bike and swim. However, he lacks confidence and self-esteem, and can be attention-seeking which results in his becoming over-excited and misbehaving. Aidan needs a family who can offer firm, fair boundaries and give him lots of love and praise. Face-to-face contact is planned with his 3 brothers.
